Favorite Celebrity

Lisa Williams.

She's the medium/clairvoyant who had a TV show on LifeTime: Life Among the Dead. Unfortunately they canceled her show but I now read her daily blog. Which is more like a positive self reinforcement with uplifting messages everyday.

So, I bring this up because she just wrote a book that is coming out in April. Along with the book she is going on a book signing tour and it just so happens that she will be fairly close to my town.

When I say fairly close, I mean 50 miles - I know, that's now really close but it's a drive on the toll way and then some suburban Chicago traffic. Nothing I haven't done before.

What I've been struggling with is the amount of time - an hour there, an hour back and however long it will take waiting in line. Not to mention I would be doing this by myself.

I kind of don't want to waste that much time just for a signed book but hope I don't regret not going. And also wonder if I am making excuses because I am afraid to go by myself.

Oh wait - go back to that last paragraph... I think I just answered my own question.

It's funny how sometimes just saying things aloud clears the confusion.

Distances are all relative.

I think 50 miles is a LONG way!

But if there was something I really wanted that was only 50 miles away.... that only creeps in!

don't ever be afraid of wasting time. wasting time and making mistakes is what makes life interesting.

Hour by hour my decision is different. I think I'll see how I feel on the day of. That's a good idea - right? yeah!

Only 50 miles? What are you waiting! GO!!! :) OK... Let me tell you a little story... When I lived in Gaspé (about 8 hours West of Quebec City) we had NO MacDo... I know.... It's not so terrible. But when you live in a city where there is NO MAcDo, you feel very far from civilization! So when they built a Macdo in Matane, people began to go there on weekends to buy some BigMacs and fries.... Not that I love BigMacs... I don't even eat beef... Hhehehe... But Matane is 3 hours from Gaspé (and 5 from Quebec City...hehehhe ) Means that people were driving 6 hours just to have a BigMac! :) Funny... And NOBODY was finding that crazy. :)

I'm still thinking - I haven't made my final descision yet.
